Tamshing Phala Choepa, one of the famous festivals of Bhutan, is celebrated in the courtyard of Tamshing Lhakhang monastery to honor a great saint, Pema Lingpa. This festival is characterized by masked dancers, who are actually the monks, and whose dance is choreographed by the Buddhist saints, who want to convey spiritual message to the people.
