Terms and Conditions for Tibet Trips

Please read the terms and conditions before booking any trip with Ace Holidays.Here are the trip booking and payment methods.

Booking and Payment Method for all Our Trips

First, you must send Ace Holidays a “Filled up Booking Form, 50% Non-Refundable Deposit, and you must fax your passport for all Tibet Trips. After receiving these, Ace Holidays sends you a receipt of confirmation.

You should deposit on the basis of per person. If you prefer direct deposit to bank deposit then you can make a direct deposit through Visa Card or Master Card, but in both the deposits, 4% additional fee is to be paid.

The Condition for Clearing the Remaining Balance as Per the Trip Booked is Explained Below

The remaining balance is to be paid in Nepal. Ace Holidays reserves the right to cancel your trip if it does not receive a full payment from you. Wherever possible, Ace Holidays accepts the last minute booking as well, that is, 5 days prior to trip starting date.

Tibet Cancellation & Booking Changes

Cancellation notice must be sent prior to 30 days, that is, before departure date, and it should be a written one. Such a notice confirms the cancellation of your trip, and it becomes valid only, when Ace Holidays approves it.

There will be no refund to you if you provide cancellation information less than 20 days prior to trip departure date. Ace Holidays also does not refund you full payment to you if you leave a trip for any reason whatsoever, either voluntarily or involuntarily, or if you commit any unlawful act after the trip has been commenced or in the middle of the trip. Ace Holidays also does not refund you for any meals, accommodation or services that you have not used during the trip. Should you require any other change to your original trip, you must submit a written document with changes required. Ace Holidays will make every effort to meet possible changes.

If you are prevented from travelling by genuine circumstances, such as, death, injury or serious illness, you may postpone or transfer your booking to another person, provided he or she meets all the requirements relating to that trip. You must provide Ace Holidays a proof of why you are unable to travel at the time you change your booking. A fee of US $100 is required if you postpone or transfer the trip no less than four weeks prior to trip departure date. If less than 30 days before arrival, there will be no refund.

Tibet Passport and Visa

All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from return date. As you are unable to obtain visas to Tibet you need to send your passport details to Ace Holidays for visa application, Ace Holidays requires this information at least 20 days prior to departure date.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is compulsory for you. It should provide adequate protection to you, including injury, death, medical, repatriation, helicopter rescue operation, and ambulance.
Health and Fitness

You should have a certain level of physical fitness before travelling with Ace Holidays. You should have your health and fitness checked by the doctor. And it is your responsibility to notify Ace Holidays of your existing medical condition if it affects you during the trip.

Children

A legal guardian must accompany all travelers, who are under the age of sixteen. If you have a question regarding age and suitability, please contact Ace Holidays for further information.

Publicity

You should also comply with the decision of Ace Holidays to use images that you have taken during the trip without your permission without compensating to you, for publicity and promotion purposes through whatever medium Ace Holidays chooses.

Changes to Your Trip and Price Due to Natural Disaster, Flight Delay, etc

Travelling with Ace Holidays requires a certain degree of flexibility, good humor and an understanding. Sometimes modes of transport, accommodation and itineraries change. Flight delay, notorious mountain weather, road blockage, political unrest, delay in arrival, any natural disaster (earthquake, landslide, flood, snowfall, avalanche, etc) or other things beyond our control may affect your trip. Ace Holidays does not refund you any amount in these situations. The abovementioned cancellation and booking changes policy doesn’t apply. And any extra cost occurred shall be borne by the clients. Ace Holidays also does not accept any responsibility for loss of your employment, delays or compensation resulting from the situations beyond the control of Ace Holidays.

If possible, Ace Holidays will provide you an alternative trip of the same category. And you are also free to reschedule the trip. While rescheduling the trip, you will receive the full credit from your previously booked trip, and you will only pay the difference amount between old and new prices if the price increases for the rescheduled departure.

Ace Holidays provides you twin sharing accommodation. Thus, single room supplement will be charged to you if you do not have another participant to share accommodation with. Ace Holidays reserves the right to revise pricing rates, posted in its marketing material, website, under any circumstances, or on the pressure of various external factors that are beyond its control, for instance, changes in exchange rate, government action, etc.

Privacy

No private or personal information that you supply to Ace Holidays when making a booking will be disclosed to the third party for any other purpose.

Responsible Tourism Policy

Ace Holidays gives the topmost priority to the Responsible Tourism Policy, which focuses on the benefits of local people, tourists, and environment.

Complaints

Should you have a complaint about the trip, you must make it known to your guide at the earliest time, who will take an appropriate action.
